D3 Itinerary
Leaving the Campground below Yuanduozhi Mountain, the return follows the same route as day one going up: first cutting back down to Erwu Creek bed, then climbing back up to the creek junction to return to the 730 Forest Road. I'd suggest taking a long break and refueling at Erwu Creek bed, since you'll still need the energy for the vertical rope at Waypoint 58 on the way back. The upside of the return trip is that there are plenty of water points, so there's no need to carry much water down from the Campground below Yuanduozhi Mountain!
