D1 Itinerary

Mt. Hehuan East Peak is lush and green. From the triangulation point you can see the Qilai Ridge, Mt. Hehuan Main Peak, North Peak, Shimen Mountain, and the peaks of the Central Mountain Range. The whole route is trail and steps — a bit exposed to the sun, but easy on the legs and easy on the eyes; round trip takes about an hour. If you're near Songxue Lodge, don't miss this one.
