Nanhu Dashan Route　D4 Waypoint

D4 Itinerary

Heading from Nanhu Cabin toward Nanhu Dashan South Peak, you first pass the junction toward the Nanhu Main Peak — keep going on the right side as you face the sign, watching for the trail where you can use ropes to descend gently. This time we rushed on the way there and missed the roped trail, going left down the boulder-field slope instead, which was dangerous and unprofessional — please, everyone, don't make the same mistake we did! After that it's mostly downhill, continuing until you reach the boulder zone, where you start scrambling upward with hands and feet; boulders and trail intermix along the way, climbing all the way up to the sixth Baiyue peak, Nanhu Dashan South Peak. Continuing along the narrow trail, the last stretch up Baba Mountain is more exposed — climb carefully and you'll reach the seventh Baiyue peak, Baba Mountain. After that, retrace your steps, climbing all the way back to Nanhu Cabin.
